Introduction to American Data Protection
On December 30, 2022, the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Energy and Commerce amended and reported the American Data Privacy and Protection Act (ADPPA), which has been placed on the Union Calendar for the further consideration process. If the bill passes the vote, it will be sent to the Senate for a series of votes. In general, there is still a long way to go before the bill reaches the public.
